Due to current public safety restrictions, we will return to holding our meetings online (via Zoom) for the time being. Feel free to attend one of our upcoming meetings! Online meetings are free of charge.

Naturally, it will be a less formal setting than regular meetings, but it should give you a general sense of the Toastmasters program.

Dear members and guests,

We are currently taking an early pause for the Holiday Season, and will be starting up again in January 2022.  Our meetings are every Tuesday evening, and the first meeting back is scheduled for the first week of January (i.e. on Tuesday January 4, 2022).

Until then, here is a nice little video that shows how a good story can help convey a message that much more successfully. Exactly how, as Toastmasters, we can also make successful and memorable speeches thanks to the power of stories.

Nous prenons actuellement une pause pour le temps des Fêtes (oui, déjà!) et nous reprendrons nos activités en janvier 2022.  Nos réunions ont lieu tous les mardis soirs, et la première réunion au retour est prévue pour la première semaine de janvier (c’est-à-dire le mardi 4 janvier 2022).

"I always imagined myself giving a speech in front of people to connect and convey to them what I had to say but never really could muster the courage and confidence to do that. After stepping into the professional world, I realized more how important and beneficial it could be to connect to people by simply having a good conversation. So that made me be a part of a Toastmasters club which is exactly the place and the people who would guide me get better at public speaking."

IMPORTANT • RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

Due to COVID-19, the size of our regular meeting room cannot hold more than 22 people.

To ensure we do not refuse people at the door, the Club will be implementing a reservation process for attending meetings:

1. All members listed in the program are automatically included.
   
2. Other members have until Sunday at 11:59 PM to reserve before guests.
   
3. After that, all members and guests can reserve on a first come first served basis.
   

You can reserve by sending an email to [email protected]. Please make sure you receive a confirmation.

NOTE: only members and guests with proof of vaccination (vaccine passport) will be accepted.

IMPORTANT • RÉSERVATION REQUISE

En raison des mesures sanitaires pour la COVID-19, notre salle de réunion ne peut recevoir sécuritairement plus de 22 personnes.

Afin de ne pas refuser une personne qui se présente à la réunion, le club met dorénavant en place le processus de réservation suivant pour assister à nos réunions.

1. Tout membre inscrit au programme de la réunion est automatiquement inclus.
   
2. Les membres ont jusqu’à dimanche 23h59 pour réserver leur place en priorité.
   
3. Ensuite, tous les membres et invités peuvent réserver sur une base du premier arrivé, premier servi.

NOTE : seuls les membres et invités présentant une preuve de vaccination (passeport vaccinal) seront admis.
